Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Young Men General President Steven J. Lund will participate in a worldwide broadcast honoring the sacred restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood and commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Young Men organization.
The broadcast will be from the Historic Priesthood Restoration Site in Harmony, Pennsylvania. Elder Andersen, President Lund and five young men will walk the paths in Harmony where the Aaronic Priesthood was restored to the earth through John the Baptist’s visitation to the Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery, followed by Joseph and Oliver’s baptisms. From this humble beginning, millions across the earth now act in the name of Jesus Christ, blessing families, individuals and the entire Church.

We will be having another Pioneer Day neighborhood party at Fox Hollow Park. There will be music, food, and a GIANT Slip N’ Slide!
In order to make this truly epic we need a little bit of help. We need some families who would be willing to bring their Blackstone or Blackstone type cooktops to the park to use to grill up the food. If you’re willing to volunteer your cooktop and/or yourself as cook, please let Brother Gray know ASAP.
His mobile number is 801-989-4580. You can text him.
We would also like each of you to minister to your neighbors by personally inviting them to the party, regardless if their members or not, or if you know them or not. A great opportunity to strike up a conversation.
P-A-R-T-why??? (If you know you know)
We love you all so much! Let’s make this epic!
Date: Thursday, August 21

This community fair is first and foremost a missionary activity with the purpose of reaching out to the Hispanic community and inviting them to come unto Christ. Last year, there were over 2,400 attendees who benefited from this event. This produced many referrals for our missionaries all over Utah and we have reports of many families joining the church as a direct result of this activity.
Part of this community fair includes the collection of donations from the members of our communities. These donations will be made available to families in need during the event. Beginning July 1st, there will be a container POD located in our Stake Center parking lot. Members of our community are invited to bring donations during the day and leave them next to the container.
If you're interested in performing a musical number during Sacrament Meeting, kindly complete this signup form to provide your information.
The bishopric attempts to call sacrament speakers with plenty of notice. Unfortunately, sometimes speakers will cancel only 1 or 2 days in advance. Finding last-minute replacement speakers is then a huge challenge for bishopric members.
If you are one of those people who would sometimes be willing to give a sacrament talk on short notice, please submit your name and the best way to contact you on short notice. There is NO PRESSURE to sign up. We realize this is not for everyone, and no one should feel even slightly guilty for passing on this. Again, this is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL, but your willingness to participate even on short notice is greatly appreciated if/where possible.
What better way to start your Sabbath day than with the Tabernacle Choir.
Music & the Spoken Word is streamed live Sunday mornings at 9:30 am.
“Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.”
Doctrine & Covenants 6:36
“God does not love one race more than another.” This sacred truth taught through ancient scripture and living prophets, invites us to reconsider how we view each other and ourselves. In the Book of Mormon, we read: “...all are alike unto God.” (2 Nephi 26:33). This declaration transcends borders, cultures, and generations. It reminds us that in the eyes of our Heavenly Father, each of His children holds infinite and equal worth. The Savior sees beyond race, status, and language. He looks upon the heart.
As His disciples, we are invited to follow His example—to treat every individual with divine respect, compassion, and dignity. Now is the time to abandon personal prejudice and institutional bias. Now is the time to walk peaceably, with love toward God and toward all mankind, free from racism and prejudice. May we learn to see each other as He does: as eternal brothers and sisters, children of a loving Father, united in divine identity, sacred purpose, and eternal destiny.
